Johnny Cash at birth JR Cash (Kingsland, February 26, 1932 - Nashville, September 12, 2003) was a singer / songwriter U.S. interpreter of many songs Folk music and famous talking blues.
Born into a large and poor peasant family, cash helps children's parents in the cultivation of cotton in a small plot of land provided by the government after the New Deal, Cash report to have Indian blood in his veins, without ever played. A passion for music through singing in the Methodist church and listening to country music on the radio. Cash must eventually deal with several pressing problems throughout his successful career as glorious and painful until his death on September 12, 2003.
in November 2005 was released in cinemas in the U.S. When Walk the soul ( Walk the Line) , a biopic about the singer played by Joaquin Phoenix . The film directed by James Mangold , seen as co-star Reese Witherspoon in the role of June Carter Cash. For this performance the actress will receive the ' Academy Award for Best Actress 2006.
