Christmas is coming, and I grant you, like a year ago, a beautiful and frivolous Top Ten in which I claim to report the best novels published in Italy in 2010.
repeat the rule, for the avoidance of doubt: here you will find the ten books that I have appreciated for a variety of reasons, including those letters (and published) in the last twelve months, the ocean of those who have not had the opportunity read there will certainly be better.
Take it as a game, short, and maybe, if you like, you play well, offering your rankings.
As I see it I was not a great year. With very few exceptions, little amazing.
Finally, a mention for two non-fiction titles: the American musical roundup sull'underground eighties American Indian, by Michael Azerrad, and the reconstruction of the attempted coup of 1981 in Spain Anatomy an instant, by Javier Cercas.
So we resent early, just after Christmas, for the Top Ten records. In the meantime, hold on.
